Superb (albeit very brief) late evening lighting at Edithmead on 18 July 1998, as 50031 Hood heads homewards with the Past Time Rail 1Z31 15:35 Penzance to Paddington 'Cornubian' railtour. The train had worked down to the Duchy as the 1Z50 07:18 from Paddington. Quite obvious headcodes in view of the traction! At the time Hood had only been back on the mainline for less than a year, and was still a novelty and in heavy demand for railtours.
