DCWA allocated 50031 Hood brings up the rear of the Pathfinder Tours 1Z18 'Taw Retour' railtour, as it slowly heads up the Heathfield branch at Newton Abbot on 16 September 1990. The lead locomotive (also a civil engineer's machine), 50032 Courageous, has just disappeared behind the bushes. In the background is the former loading point for the East Gold clay works.
