50031 Hood passes South Moreton (Didcot East) on 7 January 1990 with the 1F45 11:30 Oxford to Paddington Network SouthEast service. This loco seemed to be omnipresent on these workings around this time, and I photographed it here on a similar train a few months later. The following year, when I spent a lot of time photographing Class 50s on the Waterloo to Exeter route, it always seemed to turn up there more than other loco, as well!
