Apologies for the hackneyed location, but Class 50s haven't been at all common here since the early 1970s. 50033 Glorious & 50007 Sir Edward Elgar pass Winwick on 30 October 1993 with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z44 16:23 Seaforth Docks to Bristol Temple Meads 'Merseyman' railtour. It is an appropriate choice of location, as the loco's birthplace (English Electric's Vulcan Foundry) can just be seen to the right of the pylon above 50007.
