50033 & 50050 Buckshead 19 March 1994

50033 Glorious & 50050 Fearless sweep round the reverse curves at Buckshead (near Truro) with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z50 (naturally!) 'Cornish Caper' railtour on 19 March 1994, just one week away from their final railtour on the national network. This mammoth tour had left York the previous evening at 21:15 and traveled as far as Bristol Temple Meads behind two different 47s (47716 to Birmingham New Street and then 47503 onwards). 50007 Sir Edward Elgar & 50050 Fearless then took over for the run to Cornwall, where 50033 Glorious was added to top'n'tail the train over the Newquay and St Ives branches, leaving the immaculate large logo pair to work the tour back to York.
