Sir Edward Elgar was left at York, leaving D400 & 50033 to return with the then slightly misnamed tour. The West Somerset Railway section of the train was worked by LMS 2-8-0 8F 48773 in the morning, and Hymek D7018 on the return, arriving back at Minehead after midnight.
