A fine display of autumn colours at South Moreton (Didcot East) on 16 November 1988. 50033 Glorious heads towards the capital with the 1F55 13:00 Oxford to Paddington. The ARC stone empties seen disappearing into the distance is the 6V17 10:00 Allington to Stoke Gifford, hauled by 56050. The poor technical quality of this picture is due to my brief experimentation with colour negative film. I reasoned that in a Pentax 6x7 it would be OK. Despite being a professional film (Fujicolor NSP160) the results from the big negative are not as good as 35mm Kodachrome! |
