50034 Furious approaches Didcot North Junction on 26 November 1989 with the 1F37 09:55 Oxford to Paddington Network SouthEast service. This train was booked for a pair of Class 50s, and I remember being disappointed at the time that it wasn't double headed. Time has modified this view, and I wouldn't mind seeing a single  NSE 50 on matching stock now! Although booked for a pair, a single loco was just as common, as was a 47/50 combination.
