On 7 May 1989, in the very last weeks of booked Class 50 haulage on the Cotswold Line, 50034 Furious arrives at Kingham with the 1A65 16:15 Hereford to Paddington service. Just a single blue and grey coach breaks up the uniform Network SouthEast colour scheme, although after just a couple of years in the livery, 50034 is already in need of a repaint! Note that both lines were still laid with vintage 95lb per yard bullhead rails at this time.
