50035 Ark Royal rounds the curve near Aldermaston on 25 January 1986 with the 1A45 11:05 Paignton to Paddington 'Torbay Express'. Very backlit, but the shot is not now repeatable. Although it may one day be possible to recreate the picture if the preserved Ark Royal is ever main line registered, the location has now been completely ruined by the installation of overhead catenary.
