50035 Ark Royal passes Stanton on 28 July 2019 with the 2C71 15:45 Broadway to Cheltenham Racecourse service, during the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway's Diesel Gala. Unfortunately the three day gala was not blessed with decent weather, but the prospect of a Class 50 returning to the Cotswolds, after such a long absence, naturally attracted many photographers.
