50043 Eagle passes Hinksey Yard on 7 January 1984 with the 1A34 12:15 Paddington to Oxford service. Even as late as the 1980s BR were still using oil lamps as tail lamps on freight trains, which explains the one sitting on the ballast to the right of the loco.
