Work stained 50043 Eagle arrives at Kingham on a very murky 27 October 1979 with the 1A51 11:40 Worcester Shrub Hill to Paddington service, in the days when most trains on the Cotswold Line were loco hauled, despite the fact that passenger numbers were far lower than they are today. Just visible behind the loco are the abandoned platforms that once served trains on the Banbury to Cheltenham route.
