50045 Achillies pulls away from Charlbury station on 16 May 1986 with the 1A18 07:00 Hereford to Paddington 'Cathedrals Express'. A rarely photographed location, that apart from one pesky shadow affords an excellent view of southbound trains. The viewpoint was so open in the 1980s that Walcot Farm Cottages, on the Charlbury to Burford road can be seen in the distance.
