50046 Ajax crosses over the River Evenlode, as it approaches Charlbury station on 30 October 1988 with the 1B31 13:45 Paddington to Hereford service. For some reason there was a slight misalignment with the two cameras on my homemade bracket when taking this shot (I fixed it later with a couple of locating studs). Unfortunately on the 6x7 slide, the very rear of the train has been cut off. Also, for some unexplained reason, over the years some odd marks have appeared on the Ektachrome slide, therefore this is the 35mm version, taken on good old reliable Kodachrome 64.
