50046 Ajax passes Stoford on 15 August 1991 with the 1V09 08:40 Waterloo to Exeter St Davids Network SouthEast service. Ajax was withdrawn exactly three months after this picture was taken. With time running out for the class, many photographic trips were made to the West of England line at this time, sometimes, as here, not always in the best weather conditions!
