50047 Swiftsure passes Hinksey Yard on 28 July 1983 with the 1A79 15:15 Oxford to Paddington service. The loco was one of the first of its class to be refurbished, and so was returned to the Western Region in Rail Blue livery. It retained this colour scheme until early 1984, when the then standard large logo livery was applied.
