Smell the paint! Freshly turned out in GBRf livery, 50049 Defiance & 50007 Hercules pass Manningford Bruce on 23 March 2019 with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z50 07:08 Paddington to Penzance 'The Class 50 Terminator - Phoenixed!' railtour. The duo had only been painted in this livery a few days earlier, and had worked straight up to London from Eastleigh earlier in the morning. As the weather was dull, I took the opportunity to photograph this from the north side of the line, giving a different viewpoint, which includes Fyfield Down and Milton Hill in the background. As well as giving a view that would not be possible had the sun been out, there are many more lineside daffodils on this side of the line!
