50049 & 50007 pass Yarnton on 9 August 2024, running as the 0Z50 10:21 Eastleigh Works to Kidderminster SVR. The former GBRf liveried locos had been repainted into the ever popular large logo livery at Eastleigh. I had originally intended to photograph this from the platform at Heyford station, but it then occurred to me that a view looking down on the locos would be more appropriate, as the freshly painted light grey roofs wouldn't stay in this pristine condition for very long! The locos are running without their Defiance and Hercules nameplates, which will be refitted once they are back on the Severn Valley Railway.
