50049 Defiance passes the loops at Woodborough on 20 June 1984 with the 1A48 11:05 Paignton to Paddington 'Torbay Express'. I was using a 200mm lens here to show the train passing the pointwork. This was extremely fortunate, as the sun was going behind a cloud, and as the train got nearer it went into shadow.
