Unrefurbished 50050 Fearless passes under the bridge at Chilson 23 March 1982 with the 06:00 Hereford to Paddington service. Note the vintage bullhead track which was retained after the line was singled in 1971. It was replaced on this single track section between Ascott-under-Wychwood to Wolvercote Junction section in stages between 1984 and 1986.
