50050 Fearless catches the weak early morning autumnal sun as it passes Lyneham on 18 October 1986 with the 1A18 07:00 Hereford to Paddington 'Cathedrals Express'. Not a particularly good angle, unless you like low level bold loco close ups, but at least it is clear of shadows! The photo is taken from the little used level crossing next to the extremely limited headroom underbridge on the Lyneham to Milton-under-Wychwood road.
