50135 Ark Royal pulls away from Kidderminster station on 4 October 2012 with the late running 09:55 service to Bridgnorth, during the Severn Valley Railway's Diesel Gala. 50135 is of course in reality 50035, but was renumbered into the 50/1 series when it was repainted into Loadhaul livery. Whilst non authentic, this could actually of happened if the railfreight experiment with 50149 had been more successful, and the class had lived on into the privatisation era. For one reason or another, 50135 had eluded me since being repainted, and I am now glad to have a decent picture of it in this livery, which certainly looks very smart on the class.
