Castle Class 4-6-0 5029 Nunney Castle emerges from the fog, and passes through Appleford station on 29 February 1992 with the Flying Scotsman Services 1Z46 08:20 Paddington to Sheffield 'White Rose' railtour. This was the obvious place to photograph this train, passing the iconic Great Western Railway pagoda huts.
