508210 passes the grade II listed South Eastern Railway signal box, as it arrives at Cuxton on 11 May 2002 with the 16:04 Maidstone West to Strood Connex South Eastern service. These units were designed for the MerseyRail system, and that's where the entire class operated until 1996, when Connex leased twelve of them for rural services in Kent, such as seen here.
