The Chiltern line may have been a backwater in the early 1990s, with a limited service, only going as far as Banbury, but in the case of this train the seating capacity exceeds that of many modern trains on the route. On 28 April 1990 the 08:15 Marylebone to Banbury Network SouthEast service as formed from two four car Class 115 DMUs sets, with DMBS 51863 leading. The lengthy train is pictured crossing the River Cherwell, just after having passed Aynho Junction. |
