An unusual visitor to Gloucester on 1 July 1990. Class 104 53528 & 53454 took part in the Gloucester Rail Day, and is pictured here in front of a varied selection of locos, all of which were probably getting more attention than this DMU! Class 59, 37, 58, 33 & 90 can be glimpsed in the background. The unit had been withdrawn the previous year, but was retained for open days, and various departmental duties. It was later preserved at the Llangollen Railway.
