55002 The King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry puts out a plume of light blue smoke in traditional Deltic fashion, as it approaches Heyford on 27 May 2014 with the 0Z41 07:12 Didcot Great Western Society to Hotchley Hill (East Leake), conveying Class 37 D6700, Class 47 47292 & sole surviving Class 41 prototype HST power car 41001. The locos had been displayed at the Didcot Railway Centre's Diesel Gala over the Bank Holiday weekend, and this move was to return them to the Great Central Railway - Nottingham. Note the unwelcome appearance of a (as yet empty) palisaded enclosure, which has been erected at this location since the last time I was here.
