56006 passes the overgrown platforms of the disused Stubbins station on 11 September 1999, during the East Lancashire Railway's 'EWS Classic Traction' event. The train is the 13:00 Bury to Rawtenstall service. Stubbins station closed when all passenger services were withdrawn from the line on 3 June 1972. It was not reopened in the preservation era.
