56019 heads north at Cossington on Sunday 6 September 1992 with an engineer's train. Note the warning notice on the left. A public footpath crossed the line here, with pedestrians expected to walk across the ballast over four lines, something which would not be tolerated today! A boarded walkway was later provided, but then in 2013 this was removed and the crossing closed.
