56035 Taff Merthyr passes Fairwood Junction on 20 April 1988 with the 7O83 12:09 Whatley Quarry to Fareham ARC stone train. At this time the majority of Foster Yeoman's trains were worked by the new Class 59s, but ARC had yet to order theirs, and so Class 56s were the order of the day on ARC trains.
