56098 & 20048 pass Eardington on 1 October 2022 with the late running 14:05 Bridgnorth to Kidderminster service, during the Severn Valley Railway's Diesel Gala. In marked contrast to most of the day, there was no serious possibility of cloud spoiling this picture, as there was a large area of blue sky to the west. However, with so much cloud around generally, and after this superb result, I didn't risk using up all my luck by trying for another shot farther south!
