DC Rail Class 60s on the Berks & Hants line are always worth photographing, but when a pair of Class 56s are substituted, its even more important to get a picture, even in severe backlighting like this. 56103 & 56301 approach Little Bedwyn on 16 May 2025 with the 6M18 16:13 Merehead Quarry to Willesden DC Rail Sidings stone train. This was running 36 minutes early, despite having left Merehead nearly an hour late. Thanks to Steve King in the cab for the horn fanfare for the benefit of the small gallery of photographers on the bridge!
