56303 weaves across from the Bicester line, onto the main Banbury to Oxford line at Oxford North Junction on 3 January 2013, with the late running 6Z91 10:53 Calvert to Didcot Power Station flyash empties. Unfortunately, whereas at the booked time the weather had just been dull, by this time the light level was virtually nonexistent. Devon & Cornwall Railway's dark green livery looks drab even in full sun, and in these conditions looks virtually black! However, despite the awful light, 56303's first appearance on this train was worth recording.
