56311 & 56312 Artemis pass Washwood Heath yard on 22 November 2008 with the 6Z57 06:19 Immingham Dock to Washwood Heath Colas steel train. Despite the apparently sunny day, there was in fact a large bank of cloud to the west and the sun only came out fully as the train came into view. Initially running as a four week trial this new freight flow sees the welcome return of 'Grid' haulage to steel traffic, although a purple 56 is a bit of a culture shock! Note the grade A listed Fort Dunlop in the background, at one time the largest factory in the world.
