56312 Jeremiah Dixon Son Of County Durham Surveyor Of The Mason-Dixon Line USA & 31190 pass through the tree line cutting near Steeple Aston on 17 March 2014 with the 6Z42 09:23 Chaddesden Sidings to Eastleigh railvac move. I had gone to this location as the view from the west side of the line is quite photogenic, but at this time of day is only of any use without any sun. As it was completely cloudy when I arrived, this seemed ideal. However, the sun started to come out when there was no time to go anywhere else (it is a long walk back to the village of Steeple Aston). Luckily this view from the east side of the line turned out to be much better than expected.
