56312 passes Banbury Road stone terminal, Water Eaton (near Oxford) on 30 October 2012 with the 6Z91 10:55 Calvert to Didcot Power Station empty MBA wagons. This is the first return working of a new flyash disposal contract, although on this occasion the previous evening's train worked from Didcot to Calvert with empty wagons, as a test. Chiltern Railways plan to develop this location into Water Eaton Parkway, serving Oxford with trains to London via a new chord at Bicester. I was extremely lucky with this picture, as just a couple of minutes later a huge mass of black clouds completely blocked out the sun. |
