58023 Leicester Depot makes history on 4 October 2024, as it becomes the first Class 58 to work a passenger train in preservation. Its first train was the 12:00 Kidderminster to Bridgnorth service, during the Severn Valley Railway's Diesel Gala. Its pictured here just a few yards into its historic working, as it leaves Kidderminster station. 20142 Sir John Betjeman is included in the train to act as a brake translator. |
