59003 Yeoman Highlander passes Uffington on 28 May 2025 with the 6M50 07:13 Westbury to Bescot departmental working. A little earlier the train had come to a stand a short distance to the west, with dragging brakes on one of the wagons. The train blocked the line for over an hour, until the driver could isolate the brakes on the defective wagon. Although it was running 76 minutes late here, a few miles further on it was back on time, as it passed Wantage Road at exactly the time it should have been leaving the loop after over an hour's stop!
