Manx Electric Railway trailer 59, pictured at Ramsey on 30 March 2026, in the company of car 21. The pair had arrived a little earlier with the 07:20 Douglas to Ramsey service. A special timetable, principally for school children, was in operation due to a local bus strike. Trailer 59 is the Manx Electric Railway's smallest item of rolling stock, with a seating capacity of just 18. It is known as the 'Royal Saloon', as it has been used to convey royalty on several occasions.
