60063 approaches the site of Oaksey station in the pouring rain on 21 November 2009 with the diverted 6E41 10:13 Westerleigh to Lindsey oil empties. The normal route via Cheltenham was closed due to engineering works and consequently the rare opportunity to photograph a tank train on the 'Golden Valley' route was not to be missed. This was the second week of the engineering works, but the previous week's attempt was thwarted by a Class 66 being allocated to the working. However, this time as I knew 60063 was allocated to the train, it was just a question of waiting in the rain, which was no fun, as just like the previous week it was 100 minutes late! Note the marks on the side of the loco from where the James Murray nameplate has been removed.
