An interesting meeting of Class 60s on Didcot Power Station coal trains at Foxhall Junction, Didcot on 13 March 1997. What makes this particularly noteworthy is the fact that each loco is in a different temporary livery applied by the newly privatised freight companies to the former Trainload Freight liveried machines. Loadhaul 60064 Back Tor has just run round its train near Didcot Parkway station and is approaching with the 6A64 loaded train from Avonmouth, while on the left Mainline 60086 Schienhallion waits with the 6C67 returning empties, which will shortly run round and head back to Avonmouth. |
