60066 approaches Chalford on 3 September 2019 with the 6M53 16:20 Swindon Stores to Toton Up Sidings steel empties. A cloudy afternoon meant that it was possible to get a picture of the train traversing the reverse curves, as the line descends from Sapperton Tunnel into the Stroud Valley. Unfortunately most of the best vantage points that photographers used in steam days have long since been lost to uncontrolled lineside vegetation, but this view still gives a good impression of the sinuous nature of the route of the line in the valley of the River Frome.
