60073 Cairn Gorm passes Hinksey Yard on 29 November 2010 with the 6E48 14:09 Didcot Power Station to Lindsey oil empties. A bitterly cold day, and although Oxfordshire had still yet to receive the snow that was affecting other parts of the country, this train has brought a little of its own down from the north on its overnight run, as can be seen on the loco's front valance and the tops of the wagons. The Met Office had promised it would brighten up in the afternoon. Needless to say it didn't, and the light was absolutely abysmal by the time this train appeared.
