60080 Kinder Scout passes through Crowle station in the rain on 12 March 1998 with the 6M99 15:53 Immingham to Wolverhampton Steel Terminal Enterprise service. As can be guessed by the train's destination, this was effectively a metals service, in fact there is just a single van on the back of what is otherwise a train of steel carriers. This picture was deliberately taken a little early, so as to give a clear view of Crowle signal box, which was subsequently demolished.
