60087 CLIC Sargent runs along the down relief line at South Moreton (Didcot East) on 3 September 2014 with the  6V62 11:22 Tilbury Riverside to Llanwern steel empties. This view has recently been transformed by the installation of a gantry, carrying water and power to the large construction site in the background. This large area was formerly the wartime Moreton Sidings, and has now found a second use as an electrification depot for the Great Western Mainline. Piles of masts ready to ruin all our favourite photographic locations can be seen stacked in the background. I hoped that I would be able to 'stop' the 60 centrally between the signal and the gantry, and amazingly, given the limited space, managed to get it exactly right!
