A very grubby 60088 Buachaille Etive Mor passes Burton Salmon on 12 March 1997, whilst en-route from Lackenby to Margam with a short train of steel slabs. When Burton Salmon station was open, there was a fifth track passing under the bridge, as evidenced by the grassy area on the right.
