With the Little Langford Farmhouse bed & breakfast sign prominent in the foreground, there is no mistaking where this is! As 5 October 2016 turned out to be a perfect sunny day (after some early local cloud), and 60091 Barry Needham was booked for the 7V16 13:03 Fareham to Whatley Quarry Mendip Rail stone empties, a special journey was made down to Wylye Valley, just for this one picture. It was certainly worth the effort. It is pictured passing Little Langford running a mere six minutes late.
