This is not quite what it appears. It looks as if 60092 is in desperate need of some works attention, but in fact it has just emerged from a major rebuild as part of the Class 60 refurbishment programme. Unlike all the previous rebuilds it has not yet been given a coat of DBS red, but was instead let out in this partially rubbed down Railfreight grey livery, complete with primer green roof panel, and an EWS red rear cab door! Note the former location of the Reginald Munns nameplate. It is pictured here passing Castle Donington on 29 November 2012 with the 6E54 10:40 Kingsbury to Humber empty oil tanks. |
