After waiting for 20 minutes in Hungerford loop, 60096 Skiddaw slowly begins to move again on 1 April 2025, as it prepares to leave the loop with the 6Z52 07:04 Tytherington to Quainton Railhead stone train. The train is only booked in the loop for 14 minutes, but the 1A76 06:05 Penzance to Paddington GWR service, which is booked to overtake it, was running late, so there was plenty of time for me to walk to this spot from the other end of Hungerford Common.
